Kudos to @Stamfordtyres !

I just see the video sway back and forth, back and forth. It might as well be a photo with a voice over. Didn't even bother listening to the whole pitch.

Singapore's casting foundries only left a couple of companies. And NEA strict pollution guidelines only allows them to cast non steel base metals locally. That sgp brand can only look to regional SE Asia countries to do rim casting. To say the rims are made in sgp, that's misleading.

There are 2 major wheel manufcturing companies in singapore. Stamford and yhi. Not too familiar with stamford but i believe they only make cast wheels n their plant is in thailand? Yhi makes both cast and flowform (tech transferred from enkei) in malaysia, china and taiwan. So none made in sg. Trivial, Yhi makes wheels for tuning houses like brabus, abt, nismo, trd, etc.

Turbocharged

Any Singaporean can create their own brand and outsource to manufacturing plants in China or developing countries regardless of automotive, electronics, apparel, toys, shoes, furniture, etc.

Add on. Konig is a subsidiary and OZ is 1/3 owned by YHI.

you donesnt need Rocket science to manufacture Quality wheels

Is the Matter of Cost (material (composition),production(process like cast / Forged, R & D , Testing  , marketing etc)

you pay what you get.

my researched shown both YHI and Stamford has own House Brand.

Advanti and SSW repsectively.

HOuse Brand not 100% manufactured by own Factory.

YHI started Own Wheels plant in Taiwan and later open 1 or 2 may be 3 in China (is huge) now they have New Plant in malaysia (thank you Donald).

Stamford so far i known only has 1 plant in Thialnd.

correct me if i am wrong.

Most or All Car manufacturers do not produced wheels and they usually Outsource to BIg wheels company like Enkei japan  , OZ Italy, BBS German , ATS German , Chromodora  Italy , Borbet Germany

lately there are also some China Wheels manufacturers contract for Some European Vehicle companies.

  • Acquired a 35.51% shareholding in O.Z. S.p.A., a world-renowned alloy wheels manufacturer.

Konig American, a subsidiary of YHI International, is the manufacturer of the Konig, Mamba Off-road, Privat, Bravado Performance, and Maxxim Wheel Lines as well as other private label brands. For more info on YHI Intl: http://www.yhigroup.com/
