Ash2017 Twincharged July 1, 2019 Share July 1, 2019 Re-open? So the white tiger disappeared for a short period? You got vacation leave, so tiger don't have? Actually zoos are a cruel place for animals. Getting fed 3 times a day and occasional treat of reckless visitors trying their luck entering their enclosure. Have you seen some of our animals in the zoo, pacing up and down the length of their cage, this is a sign of stress. Don' believe ask the resident part-time vet here, Radx. He deals with lots of animals in this forum. Just curious, how much did the "white" tiger sponsors paid to have their tiger dyed.

Agreed, those animals inside the zoo quite pitiful, even they are fed 3 times per day and yet some of the animals looks so 'slim'.

Watwheels Supersonic July 1, 2019 Share July 1, 2019 It's interesting to know the enclosure is closed to the public for more than a decade(?), after the zoo cleaner's suicide in the enclosure in 2008. Although it's not mentioned in the ST article the 3 white tigers must have tasted fresh human blood. Dont think the tigers saw the cleaner as a toy like a zoo keeper mentioned. These animals although born in captivity they are still wild animals by instinct. They are predators on top of the animal food chain and has a keen sense of smell. They would have smell the human blood and tasted it when they attacked the cleaner. The zoo must have minimised the tigers' human contact to the minimal and let them live out the rest of their days til 2012, 2014 and 2017 when the tigers died one by one. And only recently re-opened to the public to the new batch of white tigers. Just curious, how much did the "white" tiger sponsors paid to have their tiger dyed. Yeah right. Plus they also made the tigers wear blue colour eye contact lens to make it look authentic. Some things cannot bluff wan lo.
