Every time he talks, someone should just utter loudly "How many games did you manage for Valencia?"

actually, for someone so biased against Pool due to his heritage, I think he should just keep quiet as no one would really take his comments about Pool seriously. really say also waste air time only.

Neutral Newbie

Dear Fellow Reds,

Nearly a year ago, I started the 2018/19, wishing that Klopp powers us to greater heights.

That was achieved when we bring back number 6.

But I think a lot of us is wishing for him to end the 30 year wait.

So this time round, for season 2019/2020, it shall be our dream.

YNWA.

Seems like another Man C year to me

For 2019/20, we want more.

Uefa Supercup- Istanbul 2019 (Vodafone Park) Turkey August 2019

FIFA Club World Cup - Qatar Dec 2019

Domestic cups - FA and EFL cups

EPL champion 2019/20.

UCL final 2020 -Istanbul (Ataturk Olympic Stadium) - repeat of 2005? Turkey.

Others  -  if applicable?

The season is long. Make sure our players stay healthy and injury-free.

In Jurgen Klopp we trust.

[thumbsup]

I hope so but please be realistic mate.. Liverpool will win FA cup this year only

Ox signed new contract, till 2023.

He's the latest of a string of senior players to sign new contracts, signalling Klopp's belief in the team, as well as the players' belief in the club.

hope after missing a whole year, Ox can get back to where he left off - a midfield dynamo that can get goals... starting with the match against his former club, maybe...

The most impt signing is still to extend Klopp contract

agreed. however, current signs are that he may not extend further after the end of the contract as at 2022.

key is to win at least 1 epl title before his retirement... then proper planning for any succession in terms of management and squad.

No man is bigger than the club. In terms of succession. I guess David Wagner picks more boxes for me as a candidate to take over.

Almost same pathway as klopp. But already has experience in English football with huddersfield. Now coaching schlekka 04

If stevie G can bring success to Rangers these 2 years, will he realistically be a candidate when klopp eventually leaves?

if stevie G is the long term successor, then the club surely should get Stevie in earlier to understudy Klopp...  as his 2nd man for a couple of years before Klopp leaves

Valid suggestion.

But i think SG is thinking of a 'different pathway,' as in he's trying to prove himself as a manager (his own man) first, and this could obviously only be done outside and not take the risk and let him trial-and-error in LFC senior team in the meantime.

Only when he's done that, then he will feel he's ready, and also the club will be comfortable with him taking over.

This is different from what you mentioned: understudy and continue the method/approach, which maybe SG might not want.

Given that he had spent most of his - largely viewed as successful though not brilliant - career at Pool, it was reported that the club would welcome him back in the future.

Wonder what it will be...

SG cannot lar.....

Wait his instructions to the last defenders is try to 'slip' when defending if you can't catch up with the attackers....  [lipsrsealed]

This thread is about Liverpool FC's stuff.

But of course if you think Man City can perform, your opinion will be humbly respected.

LFC unsurprisingly seems to always worry Pepsi Guardiola and his bands of troubled fans.

It's akin to a LFC supporter going to MC forum thread (sadly not very popular here) saying :- mate, Man Shitty's gonna relegated. :))

If that is the case, then Liverpool winning FA cup this year would sound belly belly encouraging.

Anyway's thanks for your wonderful concern and suckport... lol

I wonder what's stevie g's career plan after Rangers. If he does get decent success there like winning the scottish league and maybe good runs in europe.

He's obviously never going to manage the big rivals to LFC. Unless he does what BR does. Managing a mid tier club like Wolves or Leicester?

erm, its the SPL ... and its either Rangers or Celtics

unless he takes over Motherwell or Hbernian and WIN the League.
