Don't worry about database sharing.  With recent track records, very likely the driving licence data will eventually be hacked and posted online.  All other govts will have easy access!

Therefore this implementation is waste of time.

I won’t be surprised if there’s a news about someone using others IC number and DOB when got stopped. During my poly days when my smoker friends got stopped and screened they used their elder bro IC and police got fooled.

If no physical driving license during traffic accident how to exchange particular? How to proof that the person was involved in the accident without taking a photo of the driver's license?

 

Also driving to Malaysia no need to bring the driving license? If Malaysia TP check how?

They are using the digital licence as an excuse to ask you to pay for it if you want to request for physical licence? Anyway, how much do we need to pay for driving licence when you passed your test ah?

Once upon a time during the paper license days, it was $20 a year. Can renew at post office.
