Does AGO also have the right to audit temasick and gic accounts?

According to information from this link, https://www.ago.gov.sg/about-us/overview,

other public authorities and bodies administering public funds (upon their request for audit), e.g. government-owned companies.

I think they can only audit Temask and GIC upon their request for audit,.

but the 800k bin centre no problem still? :a-bang:

It's never about the cost, but always about adherence to procedures and documentation and disclosure.

Nobody ever questions whether something is overpriced as long as whatever evaluation criteria was met and it is still the "cheapest" quote that managed to meet all the criteria.

In fact if you question that something is overpriced and stop the award or try to re-wind the process, people may then wonder about your impartiality.

Madness, but key point to remember is that always cover-your-a*se [laugh]

Not true actually, even before the tender is published. A budget is allocated for the project. If the price exceed the budget by a certain percentage, a recall of the tender might be required.
