Lotus has not been popular in Singapore for a long time....

Will it make any difference by appointing Wearnes?

Lotus is poised on a rapid expansion plan funded by the might of Geely resources. The brand will have access to plenty of technology and manufacturing know-how from the group which includes Volvo. A Lotus SUV is undergoing trials now and may appear in the next couple of years. Then there is the Evija electric hypercar with 2000bhp...

I also believe there is enthusiasts support for this revered brand who will continue to buy Lotus in SG, as long as there are new models and sufficient back up.

Wow... this car looks cool.

Few years back was contemplating to get a lotus for it light-weight chassis unfortunately was turned off by the interior.

Really looking forward that they come out with something more attractive. [bounce2]

Yes I can understand. The Elise is almost Cayman money and Evora is in 911 territory. It takes a serious purist to look past the kit-car interior.

i think also depends on what product lotus has

that alpine a110, carried by wearnes right? never seen it on the road before.

maybe lotus has a better history and branding. but will always remain a niche car unless they start having suv and sedan

Evora use 3.5L V6.

It’s Aurion/Avalon.

Somehow, I saw a lot of comparison online between A110 and Evora GT410....

However both cars are not commonly seen on our road..

not sure how much evora will cost.

i think both are very niche. won't move in big numbers, guess the AD won't matter much

for that segment, maybe most will choose cayman or bmw 2er and maybe supra?

(edited)

Alpine/Wearnes has set up an official Instagram page (alpinecentresingapore) which often shows up on my Explore feed. They post quite regularly, however, 75 posts now and they still haven't bothered to post a pic or vid of the local unit...

20 years ago got Lotus tuned Proton but response was cold. :D

Whoa...imagine Lotus tuned Volvo or Volvo tuned Lotus. But Geely's name nowhere to be seen.

Lotus have never placed much emphasis on the interior.

Mostly the handling and driving experience.
