What tuning you thinking of ? Most cars today to tune you'll need to either reprogram the ECU, or put something in between - piggy back ECU before you can tune - basically to adjust the air/fuel mix.

You can try Autowerke at Playfair Road, or Racing Works at Paya Ubi, or McWell at Paya Ubi also.

Hi Bros, am deciding these 2 choices.

(i) http://www.obd-tuning.com.sg/ (purely ecu tuning)

(ii) http://sungbeng.com/ (They got promo package for air filter + throttle specialist + ignition sparks specialist + nano power charger + ecu obd tuning)

Of course, (ii) would be much more expensive which the website quoted as $140 x 12 months installment i.e. total of $1680.

Last I checked with (i) for their price was last year when they got a promo and they quoted me $800.

Any advice for me pls?

Which of the 2 is more worth while doing with regards to budget?

Thanks!!

You just brought up an 8 years old thread.

Hi Luckcent, yup I know. In order to create a new thread in this forum, I need min 25 posts and I've not enough. Hence I've to do a search for past threads on engine tuning, and this particular thread is the most relevant for my enquiry. Anyway, any advise for me for my query?

Thanks.

Yah, i second your thoughts, but not when a piece of paper now costs more than my car back in 2007. That's so bloodie absurd, why should I let the gov earn my hard-earned money? So if I don't change my ride now, what else can I do except to play around with the accessory options and other performance gadgets? I guess even a modest bhp increase of 20 should be enough to satisfy my ego... for the next 2-3 years at least haha.

Hi

Can anyone let me recommend a good tuner for my Mazda CX7 (2007), modest of about 20-30 BHP.

And what would be recommended for this car, Unichip, Greddy, Blitz or Data Log the existing ECU.

Or any reliable recommendation would also be fine.

Thanks and enjoy your ride.

Phil
