hi bros,

what is the difference between the 2005 legacy 2.5GT mentioned here and the legacy 2.0GT selling right now in singapore???

basically everything is the same, except in US it's 2.5L & the rest of the world is 2.0L, it's because the petrol grade in US is lower & also more strict on emmission, especially in the state of California sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

so in order to achieve the same power as the 2.0L (for the rest of the world), they (for the USA) have to use a 2.5L engine to obtain the same power output sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

Ok... so the new Legacy will be 2.0T rather than 2.5T in Singapore?

The new look of the Subaru series seems a bit difficult to accept now (dunno about the future), but in everyone's opinion, should one buy the current GT or wait for the new one?

Really? Sorry... I thought the LGT is going to be replaced alongside with the facelifted Impreza. I kinda like the current version which is pretty sleek, and I'm worried that any new version will come with the exagerated front nose of the coming new Impreza. [:p]

Now that I know the current version is gonna stay for some time, I'll have time to save up! [thumbsup] I'm afraid any new versions may take away the stuff like the McIntosh sound system etc. The LGT looks like something I really want for a upgrade from my Corolla... an executive sedan which is comfortable and fast, with a superb sound system and not out of my league. Being a Japanese car, it'll be affordable to maintain too!

I wanted to get a WRX, but I think it'll be too hardcore for me... [:(]

Hi Im experiencing nocking when i turn to the right it feels like driving over judder bars when i straighten up it feels normal I would appreciate your help

I assume since you brought up this thread you must be driving either a Legacy BL9/BP9 (Sedan and Station Wagon).

Sounds like you may have some issues with your drive shaft and perhaps even wheel bearings and control arms.

Maybe you could bring it down to one of the Subaru specialist workshops to have a check?

seriously.....you brought up a 2005 thread? to ask a technical question like this without car information

Seriously it's preferred to someone starting a new thread to ask that question. At least it showed he bothered to search.
