Geck0 Neutral Newbie March 1, 2004 Share March 1, 2004 Hi, I had spilled some air freshener (like those ambi pur type) on a plastic part and it has dried up and hardened after being baked in the sun. Now I am having a hard time trying to remove the stains which is quite aweful and an eyesore. Can anyone recommend me how I can easily remove it other than scraping it and not leaving scatch marks? Thanks. ↡ Advertisement
Genie47 1st Gear March 1, 2004 Share March 1, 2004 Solvent. Try some lighter fluid first. Test on a small area to see if it hazes the plastic. Usually it doesn't. Proceed to wipe it off with lighter fluid. Don't smoke in the car immediately after that. You know what will happen .
