Mybmk Neutral Newbie August 23, 2004 Share August 23, 2004 My friend wanted to install Solar Film on his Chevrolet Optra. But the Installer said that he cannot install on the rear windscreen as the solar film will cause the rear thermal lines to peel off. He said it already happens to Chevrolet cars and he is not willing to do it. My friend only apply the solar film on the other windows except the rear windscreen. Any Chevrolet owners experience this before? ↡ Advertisement

Mybmk Neutral Newbie August 24, 2004 Author Share August 24, 2004 No problem installing on my car either. But the guy specifically said ONLY Chevrolet car got this problem. A few incidents already happen so they refuse to apply it. Will the Thermal lines peel off so easily on a Chevrolet? PS: How do I move this to the American Section? Tomasulu Neutral Newbie September 18, 2004 Share September 18, 2004 heard the same from the southern people at jb pelangi - they won't do it because they damaged one before. could it be something peculiar to malaysia's optras? didn't want to risk it so i only installed the roller blind which can partially filters out glares from halogen's projection headlamps.
