Have decided to purchase a new Octavia despite many resistence from traditional car owners. May sign on the dotted line this weekend. Hope nothing will sway me otherwise and will not regret my decision.

Hope to be one of the few owners in East Coast.

Good choice,

I have mine for 1 and 1/2 months and clock 3,200 km, its' performance is very good, you will notice the good point for this car in rainy day; FC is about 12.5/l; the only bad point is that after using this car, you will lost confident on jap car!

Safety come first, unless you want to change your car yearly then resale value become first priority; in fact it is bad for the earth and waste of natural resource to replace a performance healthy car. [laugh]

Yes agreed, but if there's financial difficulties and needed to be change for a more affordable premium, then buying Jap car will be much safer [;)] ...

Imagine the resale value for Skoda is really crap [thumbsdown] ...

No doubt about safety but without $$$, it's even more dangerous dude [:/] ...

Nobody can know about the future and what will happen tomorrow. Therefore, preventive measures have to be taken [:|] ...
