Honda has released a preview illustration of the next generation Honda Civic, which is set to be unveiled in concept form at Detroit during the 2011 North American International Auto Show in January.

 

The design sketch shows a sleek and aerodynamic profile strongly resembling the Honda CR-Z. Although this sketch is showing what appears to be a three-door hatchback, prototypes of the Civic sedan version have been previously spied.

 

There are no details regarding the engine options, but previous reports have indicated that the Civic may receive a new petrol and diesel power plants. A dual-clutch transmission is also a possibility and I hope it turn out to be a reality as DSG is the
