Ddt121 Neutral Newbie August 9, 2005 Share August 9, 2005 I am using the lowest series.. Vector V200.4 for 2 years. I think it is value for money compared to the rest of the more branded ones. Clarity and power is there. I am using it with MB Quart Reference Series. Hope this helps.
Fff0 Neutral Newbie August 10, 2005 Author Share August 10, 2005 Ok... Seems that no one actually heard of Xetec brand. It seems popular in German... I have heard CDT CL61 myself, its really clear. Just that I dont know how CL62 sounds like. For Infinity 60.7CS, I never heard before. Heard that its comparable to CDT CL61. Very confused.... Will go for the ICE meetup someday to audit. Ddt121 Neutral Newbie August 10, 2005 Share August 10, 2005 YEs indeed, Xetec is very popular in Germany. Anyway, for local distri, i dont think there is any one. The one I bought is export set. Sure, there is a meetup today. Do drop by. I will be making my way there after being absent for a long time.

Fff0 Neutral Newbie August 12, 2005 Author Share August 12, 2005 How about giving it less than it can handle? 400W amp driving 600w sub?
Redliner_sg Neutral Newbie August 13, 2005 Share August 13, 2005 still will have sound come out. More is always better. Too much is just right. Thats my formula
Jpgyip Neutral Newbie August 13, 2005 Share August 13, 2005 Always have an amp power rated higher than ur Sub if not u can never get the full potential out of the sub.
Ddt121 Neutral Newbie August 23, 2005 Share August 23, 2005 hi bro, sorry to reply so late. been away from sg. anyway, i never use L7 b4. so cannot comment. i know kicker makes very good subs but is pricey. also, the best is to match power of amp with sub / speakers power rating. if not, amp should be higher ( as mentioned). but not too high as if you crank it up too high, speakers will break. componenets matching is very important. some ppl use hi power amps and lower rating speakers. this maximises throughput and you can continue to use the amps for a long long time (since amps normally dont spoil unless of a power outrage). caution is to be exercised when cranking up volume. ↡ Advertisement
