40K vs 45K servicing

Hmm.. which one is correct for a 1.6A Octavia?

It should be 45,000 km servicing for Octavia, their are serviced at 15,000km intervals. Of course, the duration of the oil also determine the timing of servicing, eg if you travels only 10,000km in a year, then take whichever comes first.

Does it really matter? Guess as long as you service every 10000km - 15000km should be fine.

Would you have any details on the scope of work for 45K servicing. Is brake servicing included, what are the items being changed? The owner maintenance handbook does not seems to provide a lot of details.

I believe the service maunal is very specific, have a look at the one which is supposed to be completed by the servicing agent. However, at 45K, if my memory served me correctly, it is only an oil change and visual inspections. Major changes are at 80 or 90K.

Probably change your fuel filter,gear box oil, oil filter, spark plugs, engine oil.

 

At 90k probably need to change the timing belt. So that will cost.
