Currently is as follows:

TBe - 50W x 2

3W2 - 50W x 2

6W3 - 100W x 2

for the spk cable, running on onli normal DEI cable but hope to change to pure copper cable (now searching for cheap and good one, maybe looking at DIY one). any change will be likely next year. hope forumers can share more on issues such as:

1. power supply (cable, cap, filter, groundings, etc)

2. RCAs

3. Spk cables (variation in thickness, matching such as silver/copper, pure copper etc)

4. tunning (EQ/RTA, TA etc)

5. Tw/Mid/Low (angle, position etc

above is what i am also trying to learn more about. ICE is interest cos many factors affect the overall SQ produce by the equipment, it not just abt getting all the "best equipment", there is matching issues... as well as user preferences.

cheers

For spkr cabling, DIY Forums recommend Klotz, model 2x2.5 at $2.60/m (2003 pricing) at SLS Hung Bros - pricing quite OK - No personal experience on my part so don't know how it would sound.

Personally, I'm going to use a short run of QED Silver Anniversary from the x-over to the tweeters - about $10 - 11/m. Short run of total 3m only so still OK.

For the rest of my spkr runs which are all over the place, Belden 1860A - value for money at about $3 - 3.50/m.

-------------------

For inter-connects, the range of cables and opinions too wide ranging liao - cannot offer u any viable recommendation! [pirate]

Hope the above helps [thumbsup]

Folks, this is what I gathered and wanna share with you folks especially on Focal, I understand from respectable forums that all Focal dealers had to go on special training courses so that they can understand the correct way of installing the speakers in different configurations. I also understand that Focal will not allow dealers whom haven't been on their course to buy and install especially the Be (Beryllium) range. The authorised dealers are also given a tour of the factory so that they can see exactly how the Be domes are formed. Have your installer gone for the course?

although this is an old thread but seems interesting as i've been doing my research for the pass few weeks. any views if dealers have to go thru training for focal? if so, which are the authorised ones? thanks.
