Tat's absurd [hur]

My guess is the dealer has renewed it's COE to take advantage of the low COE nwdays + body value shld b abt 30+K & in addition to some performance parts, thus price is jacked up to 40+K thus the 9K above paper.

Juz my guess. I may be wrong. Will b gd if u can include more details here.

Cheers.

It depends on whether is it a renewed COE one or 1 with PARF.

Another factor is whether the car is equipped with performance parts anot if u r dealing directly with a private owner.

In ur previous posts, u mentioned tat u r looking for 1 with PARF. Since so & assume the car is stock, u shldnt b payin more than 2K above paper + body.

Juz my 0.002cents worth

Cheers.

I would just get the rex if in your shoes, based on their prices. And don't think sir's FC and insurance very good/cheap also.

it's about there...

what's inside the sir??? comes with modded parts or not? the condition good or not? got accident or not??? if you were the owner, why would you place your sir paper + 9k.

if i were given the choice. i wouldn't buy the sir today. i would wait until next year. 1996 is the 1st batch of EK series on the road. wait until then, there will be siRs popping out in the market which is COE, better choice also.

not worth buying with 4k above paper value. you must include SIR after 10yrs road tax will start to increase by 10% every year if u are driving for long. For 2nd hand cars i think you also better set aside a sum for changing parts.most likely they would have wack the vtec inside out.

go for new rex better if you can afford it. u still have parf value after that. if u intend to drive for long.

"I pushed it 550km hardcore long distance driving. City driving about 450-500km. This is stock. "

so means the FC for stock rex is about 9km/l? hmmm looks okay to me...

My friend's EK4 auto was doing only 6-8km/L. When he changed to LGT, also same FC, or slightly better. So he was commenting he changed to a TC car to save petrol. [laugh][laugh]

But i think TC car can give reasonable FC also, if u drive decently and don't always kui turbo.
