BMW320i Neutral Newbie November 15, 2005 Share November 15, 2005 But bear in mind I clocked this mileage on long distance driving in Perth. Your looking at 100-200km with occassional stops in at beginning and end of the destination. 450km would be city driving and thats on 50L because I usually don't use up the reserves. Driving style is moderate. But such a car, FC shouldn't be too much a concern for you. ↡ Advertisement

BMW320i Neutral Newbie November 15, 2005 Share November 15, 2005 I would say you should plan well financially. Just make sure you don't have to work your butt off to meet monthly installments. Both cars are heaps of fun.
Falc 3rd Gear November 15, 2005 Share November 15, 2005 Dunno leh. Maybe better to ask in SHC, they have the EK folder. But imagine having to rev sky high to extract the power, it will be real tough not to drive heavy-footedly.
Fsrkia Neutral Newbie November 15, 2005 Author Share November 15, 2005 for normal driving and overtaking, normal sir driving below 3000rpm should be more than enough unless u are overtaking one whoe stretch of rex or evo who are refusing to give way... just like to have the vtec under my control and use it when needed... so hard to find a good condition and within my budget ek4m.. BMW320i Neutral Newbie November 17, 2005 Share November 17, 2005 Stock rex understeers big quite a bit. Tyre wears out outside and finally inner. Peak boost around 4500-5000rpm. 5000rpm onwards, actuator no longer holds the boost and you don't get the surge. Mods wise, for eg. be prepared to spend some cash on piggyback or standalone ECU to take advantage of your aftermarket exhaust system otherwise it'll be slower then stock. (High AF ratio) Next level of mod is usually turbo upgrade which can be quite expensive. Stock WRX is not a car you want to launch at 6000-7000rpm otherwise the gearbox will blow. Overall its good fun but if you want more, you'll have to spend quite a bit on modding. ↡ Advertisement
