It could be true... especially if you are not using original spark cables...

 

If you have frens driving the same car as you... borrow their cables and try switching in yours and try... if static noise is gone, then confirm its your cables.

 

Hi,

I just fixed my component speakers and realize that there is this tat tat sound coming from the tweeter whenever the engine is started. However, the sound is gone when I off my engine. Ping Liang guys said it could be cause by spark plug ignition cables. How true is this and how do I resolve it?

Problem in wire connection might be the cause.
