actually ever since shell revised their rewards program, i have been pumping different brands of petrol to see which ones are better in mileage.

 

So far, only Mobil/Esso is comparable in terms of power and FC.

 

My personal fav is still Petronas!

Used to worth it.. cos it takes only an hour (without jam) to and fro. But now, i am staying put in SG.

Hello MCFers,

 

The fuel gauge is reaching the 1/4 mark so have to top up petrol soon. I have been using Shell V-Power all this and now thinking of trying Caltex Techron (to get cleaners inside car engine scrubbing the pistons and valves as they advertisement shows!!)

 

So the question is whether has anyone tried this fuel? Is it good?

yes i agreed that caltex burns faster

i tried my ride and i need at least 3 full tank of gold techron to clear what ever deposits in my engine. by the 4th full tank my milage giving me the same milage i use to have;p
