anyone knows how to install the scanner led light

when you arm your car or when you lock your car doors?

um...can be done at almost all audio shop including CarBeauty...at a minimal cost... if u purchase smting else wif them...might b cheaper. it's usually 10 or below..

I did mine at an audio shop too. $10 is worth the time they spend crawling under there to run the wire properly. Last time I installed my foot pedals by myself, almost sprained my back doing it

i just got it install just now during lunch time at eunos

the problem is

the guy said that the scanner cannot attach to the alarm as my alarm have no earth wire

thats mean a direct connection

now the only thing that lights up the scanner is when the engine is OFF

the purpose of istalling the scanner is that

i got the habit of forgeting to lock my car!

is it possible for the scanner to light up only when the doors are lock?

Nonsense lah, my cheapo alarm system also can do it. If no earth wire, then how ur alarm work?

Did your existing alarm comes with LED light? The original LED is usually Red and installed facing you.

 

If you alarm is equiped with the normal LED light, than it should be any problem to have the scanner attached.

 

For those module which don't support LED light, than I am not too sure. Maybe cannot lor.

there is a led light at the key hole

once arm the led light will light up

But from wat you said. The scanner should be able to fix with the alarm module.

sorry to hijack this thread as unable to post new as a newbie......i am currently looking for the scanner with running light to be fix at the outside and front of the car.....like the famous NightRider car(David Hasselholf).........can anyone help me as in which shop does this and how much.........thanks in advance

actually u can go to sim lim tower to get it

some shop can customise the LED light
