Zakuii 1st Gear July 1, 2008 Share July 1, 2008 It is not neow or neow. If the car drinks min 91, no harm pumping 92. Why create wastage by pumping a more expensive petrol?
Passion 5th Gear July 1, 2008 Share July 1, 2008 bro, different country, different requirement for the engine.that's explain why some car from PI need to go thru LTA checks before release in the market. So it may requirement 91 in Japan, but for singapore atmosphere, may need at least 95?I may be wrong, but i heard this is what happen. Zakuii 1st Gear July 1, 2008 Share July 1, 2008 (edited) The manual will state what ron to use. When I was driving the 2l Stream, it is stated clearly in the manual it can use ron 91 and above (for SEA countries, I believe). I believe Stream's K20 engine block and Civic 2l K20 block should be somewhat similar. If so, it should be able to take ron 91 or above. And, I believe petrol grades has nothing to do with environment. Engine oil is. And Japan has equally extreme weathers too, like very hot or very cold, for months. Therefore, their weather conditions are worst than ours. Singapore's temperature fluctuations is almost similar throughout the whole year.
