Tzehou Neutral Newbie June 21, 2008 Share June 21, 2008 Hi, I had recently installed PageGuard PG-8000S in my car. It has turbo timer feature and has been activated by my alarm installer for 1 min after I had taken out my car key from the car. But how come some times the turbo timer can be activated and some times it doesn't? Is there a sequence to it or got some special steps to make it work (e.g need to close the door then switch on the engine etc... then the TT would be activated)? The user manual does not say much about the turbo timer execpt on how to activate and deactivate it. Would be most grateful if any kind soul could shed light on how the turbo timer actually works for the above 2-way paging alarm module from PageGuard. Many thanks. ↡ Advertisement

Tzehou Neutral Newbie June 22, 2008 Author Share June 22, 2008 Ah... I see. Ok, I'll go test it out. Its sad that the user manual did not state much about how to use the TT function. In the mean time, hopefully other bros and sis in this forum could also shed some light on this issue. Thanks
Tzehou Neutral Newbie June 22, 2008 Author Share June 22, 2008 Hi Bro, May I know what you meant by "or if you have opened the door before turning the kkey , alos no TT" Do you meant that when you come to a stop or parking position, you need to remove the key from the car before opening the car door in order to activate the TT? Thanks!
S4vtec 3rd Gear June 22, 2008 Share June 22, 2008 yes . i think so . My old 6000s was more than 3 years ago . memory also failing me la . if you open your door before you switch of the ignition , it will also bypass the TT function . Anyways TT function a load bull of crap unless you are driving a 400 BHP turbo monster , redlining for the past half hour or so ........ if not in NA application , you are just contributing to the cartel's P&L sheet .
