Need Help abt using Excel 07 version

I know some bro here are expert with computer programme.

I have a problem here.

It goes like this:

 

Currently I am using Vista with MS Office 2007 system.

We all knew that we are able to share excel file with 2003 office by save it with lower end.

 

My proble is: whenever I opened a file and working on it, it will hanged half way if I were to do a function, ex like either I say change a font cell, change a cell color, it will hanged and the title on top will mention "Microsoft Excel..."file name"... not responding" and if I simple just clip the mouse, the screen will dim.. and when I closed "Not responding' message informing me that the excel will restart prompt up.

 

ps: so far this only happen when i opened a 'shared' file...

 

have not try to creat one new file though..

 

any advise??
