Cloudywind Neutral Newbie September 28, 2009 Share September 28, 2009 As in all polishes, u must have applied to thick. Have been using SRP for the pass one year. Apply thin layer, not much white residual problem. In fact, SRP is one of the most economical polish u can find, and not forgetting it has a stronger chemical cleaning properties than most AIO in the market. Agree! if you apply thin enuff, SRP won't give u too much residues, and u can really feel ur ride smooth smooth aft SRP!

Alvinlkw Neutral Newbie October 8, 2009 Share October 8, 2009 Hi, I have been reading about all the replies. My office is in Tuas and the car picks up a lot of dust from the shipyards in the vicinity. The paint is really rough and even after using the clay bar twice, it still feels rough. Is it because I did not do it well? I tried to follow the intructions to use the clay bar after car wash and the body is still wet. I read that Toyota Bodyworks does use clay bar for their polishing service. Anyone tried it? Anyone has the same issue as me?

Alvinlkw Neutral Newbie October 8, 2009 Share October 8, 2009 (edited) Hi maddriver, I used the clay bar on 2 separate washes. I noticed that the claybar gets dirty but the surface still feel rough even after I knead it into the cleaner surface after it gets dirty. But I noticed that it works better for the glass surface. maybe I am using a cheap type of claybar? I got it from autobac. I think it could also be due to the polish that I use. I can't remember off hand the brand but it's one of those german brands (i think). Cost me about $20 plus for a small bottle.
