Tanly Neutral Newbie August 10, 2009 Share August 10, 2009 Teach u a very low cost plus effective method to prevent tyre theft. My frd uses 4 different types of nuts on each rims.Yes four cheap but different head size nuts for which tire shops have the adapters easily as they are common nuts and dun require special tools. The tire shop was like $#@! when he changed all 4 tyres as he have to do 4 passes instead of 1 pass to take off the rims. But tire shop owner commented that it's the 1st time he seesuch a clever idea.Of cos my frd using >$2000 Japan rims not those taiwan, malaysian rims anti-theft nuts around $100 or so. normal ones not sure. tire workshops should sell both kinds.
