Picanto 3rd Gear March 29, 2011 Share March 29, 2011 i once went in, drove directly to the basement carpark, and walk up (ride) the escalator, a beautifully dressed sale girl, pass me her name card, immediately i stepped out of the escalator, make me feel very surprising, I am wondering how she knew I am coming lol, may be she is watching the CCTV very closely. Before that I heard many stories about how arrogant they are, but i didn't experience that. I just ask for 320i, she started to explain for almost 5 mins, none stop lol, seem like very professional in her trade. She also took me to the next model 318i, and started to compare the differences. after that, of course, i started to ask for the catalogue and said that i need time to make decision lol, after she campared the prices for both model, and off set the trade-in. Before leaving, she reminded me to mention her name to the guard through the intercom for free parking lol. I feel very happy with this kind of welcome. and whats her name? ↡ Advertisement

Tireburner 3rd Gear March 30, 2011 Share March 30, 2011 I think Denish is the smarter one among the many SEs there. He sees opportunity while many don't. He probably figures that you're buying a 2nd ride for wife, kid, mistress or just for weekend use...and his gamble paid off Actually, I have also heard of many similar stories about Toyota salesmen don't see customer up or really boh hieu larn. However, of the 2 rides I bought from them, I have not encountered such cases, even while look look see see, always someone would turn up asking if they could be of help. Thaiyotakamli Supersonic March 30, 2011 Share March 30, 2011 maybe its customer profiling, which is very common. in some showrooms, they see what car you arrive in.. serious i once went to Jakarta Mercedes showroom and went in, they welcome me warmly even though i take cab lol
Cat 3rd Gear March 31, 2011 Share March 31, 2011 (edited) i remember my first car purchased from komoco bt timah was going by motobike. i just parked beside the building next to the test drive car. May be at that time, they did not notice me, and i just ask the reception that i want to make a booking. A lady attended me and done a good job of course, within hour, without test drive the car, without much queries, every thing, including cpf statement, salary slip, booking fee and forms signature all settled. Finally she asked how did i come here, and i frankly telling her that i came in by my motobike, nothing shame. ok. If i do that in performance motor, i do not know what will happened?
