Tireburner 3rd Gear June 29, 2011 Share June 29, 2011 Anyone has bought the watch and what's the price like? Just saw an ad in the newspaper and it has a GPS function. I jog regularly and would be interested in getting one. Thanks for any info and comments. ↡ Advertisement
Parkwalker Clutched June 29, 2011 Share June 29, 2011 I bought the non-GPS one for its counter ticking. Ok in usage. Do you have a smartphone? most of them would have a GPS function that could be used to track exercises. Iphone for one have tons of apps for this purpose. Nike+ app would be a good example. Android phones also have such apps, and for free! Instead of buying such a dedicated watch, why not buy a smartphone?
Tireburner 3rd Gear June 29, 2011 Author Share June 29, 2011 Thanks for the info. I do have a samsung galaxy and it has a GPS. Just that while jogging I do not like to carry anything especially a HP, hence am looking to get this new Ironman. BTW, how much did you pay for the previous model of Ironman? Davidklt Supercharged June 29, 2011 Share June 29, 2011 Its heavy and cumbersome. Runners want everything light. Shoes included. I bought the non-GPS one for its counter ticking. Ok in usage.
