KARTer 2nd Gear April 17, 2012 Share April 17, 2012 (edited) I mean singers/musicians like Ray Charles, and the one who sings "... I just called to say, I love you..." (His name just skips my mind tonite), Jose Feliciano,... all have to wear dark glasses. From Taiwan, i like the accordian player/singer "Lee Bin Huay" who also wears dark glasses and flashes the gaps in between his teeth.... or the "Ah Gek Kia" who sits on a chair to sing. They are my favourites. Another blind musician who didn't wear dark glasses was Jeff Healey (dead about 4 years now, RIP). If you're asking about musicians who absolutely commanded the stage, then a few come to mind. Right at the top of the list is Freddie Mercury. Then there're Axl Rose, and Bruce Dickinson. Then there are the musicians known for infamous gimmicks - even if they only happened the one time, like Ozzy Osbourne biting the head off that bat on stage. Many others smash their guitars, but i guess few do the same to the keyboard / grand piano Havent come across wheelchair-bound singers (with my limited knowledge).
