Any comments on the above tyre?

Consider changing my existing Hankook prime tyres. :)

used cpc2 b4... good- quiet, gd grip in rain and wear rate is acceptable... bad- tire wall soft cause quite abit of body roll... not so grippy in corners... take into consideration its a summer touring tires so dont expect too much from it... if yr going for comfort rather than performance, its not a bad set of tires...

using CPC5 now..... SUPER SOFT SIDEWALL!!!!! when i close my door, the whole car will shake!!!!

That being said, the tyre is quite good, performance, grip also good in wet and dry (compared to XM2 and ER300, both also quite decent tyres). Comfort is quite good but noise not so quiet (compared to XM2) ...but i only speed max 120...the fuel consumption also improve and very noticeable less rolling resistance (sometimes not used to it, can cruise too close to car in front)

but super soft sidewall......maybe more suited for car with stiffer original suspension and lower profile wheels (Conti cars) ....

CPC2 is a good set of tire. Grips well and not too noisy.

I've recently replaced it after running for approx 80kkm on it. Still plenty of thread left but I felt the rubber has hardened. Last checked with 205/55/16 selling at $150/pc last week.

Go for it! :)

Go tyrepac.com conti tyres super cheap there...some tyres very cheap. Some tyres very expensive. Now ps3 got clearance sale...many 2011stock. Went to Stamford the stupid mechanic told me no such tyre in the world as cpc5...say i confuse with csc5...say cpc2 is the best tyre for my Altis....

Alternatively, you can just swing by your regular tyre shop, most of them will be able to offer you a competitive price with installation and tax inclusive.

It's better to buy from shops with physical retail front that are able to solve/inspect any problem that could possibly arise

Tyrepac will send the tyres to your workshop (if its on their list...their list is quite sizable). Check with ur workshop if they are with tyrepac or just check the list on their website....but its like buying engine oil from Giant and going to ur workshop to change eo...meanibg ur ws only earn labour....sometimes this way they dont work as hard....

Let's put it this way, CPC5 was built for comfort.

The original CPC was still the best grip among the 3 gen CPC.

Personally for performance, I ranked CPC > CPC2 > CPC5. CPC being the best.

Too bad maybe due to bad economy sentiment, Conti don't make them anymore.

Maybe it will be the most expensive to CPC if still available.

<_<
