For those who updated their software, did you rename the file itb100hdfw.bin to setup.bin to correctly update the video camera?

Sorry, dunno how to update it. [laugh]

Don't need to rename. Just copy the file to the root directory of your SD card.

Guy i need help! suddenly my cam stop recording and it says solid red led indicator near PWR label and no beep heard at all! any advise?

You may want to check with your PC software to confirm.

Do you have the UPC installed?

I think the beep sound only heard when you power up (insert the power cable) the unit.

You bought together with the recent group buy?

Suggest to send a mail to check with the seller.

No beep at all? When you unplug the power cable from the camera, does it sing the 3 tone down scale beep? How long did u waited after you unplug the power before you insert back? And after inserting back, how long did you wait for the 3 tone up scale beep? It takes about 30 seconds for the camera to boot up.

If I were you, I'd probably try the following things:

1. Tried to press the mic on/off button to see whether the LED turns to green, so at least I know whether it's completely hang or still have some hopes

2. Tried to press and hold the mic button. This will format the SD card and you should hear few 1 tone beeps, followed by 3 tone down scale beep not long after (indicating it's shutting down/rebooting/restarting services), then followed by 3 tone up scale beep (like when it's first starting and ready to go)

3. Tried different SD card, to see whether there's any diff

Ok, for those that are doubting whether KPE tunnel speed cam is working or not, doubt no more. It's working... [;)] Here's the proof, fresh from my 2 ITB-100HD (front and back), recorded yesterday evening (sorry, can't embed... not enuf point, i guess)

Actually, I just kanna myself last week, no thanks to losing patience over 2 blurdy road hoggers doing 60+kph on Lane 1... Lost my patience after numerous beams and they stayed there heck care for the building up traffic behind, so step on the gas and overtook from lane 2, and totally forgot about the cam zone. Too bad on that day my ITBs just arrived, no time to install yet. Otherwise, the rear one sure could see the flash light shooting at it.... The inside of my car suddenly got so bright for 1/2 sec... Waiting for love letter know... [knife]

when unplug, no beep, i waited for more then 5 minutes. usually like what u mentioned, 30 seconds only after plug in for boot up. Tried to press the mic button, no changes in LED. Tried formatting the card by press and hold the mic button, no beep heard. Tried without SD card, no beep.

Does it output any image from the video out port? Maybe you want to try to put the firmware file in the root folder of the sd card and see whether the device take and process it. Last resort, me think. Seems like it's gone case... Hope you'll manage to get it sorted out.

Is this happen after long hour of powering the unit? Or out of sudden, it just dead?

Happened suddenly. Can was plugged all the times with power saver. Now I noticed that the parking led blinking red in constant pulse. The power indicator to be exact is amber instead of red.
