Cool_jazz Neutral Newbie October 16, 2003 Share October 16, 2003 (edited) Hey guys Has anyone tried using some form of thermal reflective wrap on their air-intake pipe(s)? I guess it is to prevent "in-coming" air from getting heated up by the engine. Comments? Cheers Cool_jazz Check out the link for thermal management under your hood... http://www.minimania.com/MM/Induction_syst...esters_1289.htm Edited October 16, 2003 by Cool_jazz ↡ Advertisement
Lordgt Neutral Newbie October 16, 2003 Share October 16, 2003 warpping that won't help you much, best is to get cold air channel into the duct.
Cool_jazz Neutral Newbie October 16, 2003 Author Share October 16, 2003 My car takes in air from the bottom of the engine well just behind the front fender/spoiler. So it is already a kind of CAI. What else can be done to get cold air?

Zrun Neutral Newbie October 16, 2003 Share October 16, 2003 u should try attaching a pressure meter at the mouth of the CAI, because, I tried exposing the CAI to moving air, and my car's torque actually dropped.
