Thermal reflective wrap

Hey guys

Has anyone tried using some form of thermal reflective wrap on their air-intake pipe(s)?

I guess it is to prevent "in-coming" air from getting heated up by the engine.

Comments?

Cheers

My car takes in air from the bottom of the engine well just behind the front fender/spoiler. So it is already a kind of CAI. What else can be done to get cold air?

u should try attaching a pressure meter at the mouth of the CAI, because, I tried exposing the CAI to moving air, and my car's torque actually dropped.

you should go to AROC forum in Delphi, they would have tonnes of ideas for you.

alfa is a very hot car, that's why its very passionate. hee hee you'll need plenty to keep it cool. Try Thermal Barrier coating your exhausts for starters.
