Helixtrd Neutral Newbie December 16, 2004 Share December 16, 2004 Hi, Can anyone recommend a good and reliable workshop for installing koni dampers for my G9? Concern abt the workmanship as the installation includes mods to my existing suspension... Cheers! ↡ Advertisement

Zrun Neutral Newbie December 16, 2004 Share December 16, 2004 Installing dampers is quite easy, especially if it is full strut assembly. Just a FYI. Tools needed: socket set, spring compressor, car jacks/stands, torque wrench and breaker bar. It takes about 3-4 hours for beginners, and 2 hours for professional. So you can kind of estimate how much you are willing to pay for this job.
Helixtrd Neutral Newbie December 17, 2004 Author Share December 17, 2004 The problem is for my ride ie. a G9, the stock damper housing will need to be cut in order to insert the koni's. That's why I need to find a reliable workshop to do it and hopefully one that don't charge an arm and a leg... Anyway, thks for the input guys!
