Hi,

i do not own a peugeot but love that car as well, why not give us your comment of the car [:)]. Myself i found it a bit small for the leg space for the back seat, as i required a rather wide space for my driving position, the person sitting behind me will be having stortage of leg room.

how about the engine sound, handling, power etc, can you share with us your experience as it is a car i love to have too.

regards

ang

me also me also.. 8-P

who else want to tok about 206 ?

tohyt want to exchange notes here ?

When i bot my 206 space was also a big concerned.

Anyway I think I am living with it fine. I'm a long limb 1.77m tall guy.

Actually if u observe the design, u'd see that the back seat has a very steep slant. So essentially it gives the passenger slightly more space to sit/put their legs.

OF course you can't have it all. It is really small. But that's part of the beauty i guess. Easy to park. Reasonably powerful for a 1.4L engg.

I can setup a Pug Forum, no problem.

I'll need a volunteer to be moderator of Pug Forum so that he can add Pug users to a members list and moderate private threads in the Pug forum.

Cheers!

Let me see how much i can answer.

Most of us bought ours like 1 year ago, just slightly before the 101$ COE, so our car price is more or less the same. There are quite a bit of changes lately so I'll try to sum up everything.

For us:

Car: 1.4L (actually 1.36) engine.

Auto: between 75~76K.

Manual: 72~73K.

The rims are sold at 500$ and the leather seat was $1000.

Not sure how much the sales ger conned me anyway i din get the leather seats.

Single driver air bag with no ABS.

Currently:

There are a few versions of 206.

1.4L Engine I suspect mostly manual left. 2 months back the manual one was going at 69800, but I think it went up 2K after the COE did.

1.6L Engine. Selling close to 85~86k. With two air bags and ABS. Bucket seats that looks like velvet material.

2.0L Engine. The famous GTI that's been winning the last two round of WRC. Two door and very very very fast! Think selling at 110~120K.

Call autofrance up and check lor. [cool]

Hi, glad to see so many 206 lovers here. If you want to know more pug owners and listen to some expert opinions, then you may want to try out:

http://forums.delphiforums.com/peugeot/start/

It's not a very large community given the relatively small number of 206 owners in Singapore but the people there are very helpful, and one guy has even been trying to invite people to the forum by sticking a post-it slip on every 206 he sees [:)]

I used to drive 306 ... i still think it's a great car in its own era ... unfortunately, not many people get to enjoy riding it.
