Raycsk Neutral Newbie April 25, 2005 Share April 25, 2005 Yesterday's race was about one of the best seen in a long time. Much as I dislike MS I take my hat off to him, no less than 200% effort. He looked very dissappointed in the post race interview. Fantastic driving under pressure by Alonso. To control the race pace for the last 10 laps in such situation is certainly not easy especially when the Scuderia is significantly much quicker. McLaren's performance is much like a flash in a pan. ↡ Advertisement

Linus Clutched April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 i think it also shows ferrari is back... will be a good fight now. renault, williams, mclaren, toyota, ferrari, honda. been a long time since the field is so evenly matched. the 2nd stringers like sauber, red-bull still got lots of room to improve. and alas, minardi and jordan will occupy at the end as usual. Hang_kilat Neutral Newbie April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 (edited) holy crap, u saw that last 10 laps too?? man, i tell u, all the time my heart was in my mouth. that was the best racing ive ever seen in quite awhile...alfonso did a great job in NOT overtaking the two last cars or else Shummi might have made a try. button made that stupid mistake and i went like "Huh? what a giveaway". but it was a great overtake. shows how fast shummi was in exploiting every single chance he has. looks like scuderia ferrari is strting to buck up. typical ferrari tactic perhaps? or maybe the new engine is starting to pay off. :) cheers~! Hang_kilat Neutral Newbie April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 lol, regarding maclaren, at the beginning of the race my dad told me that maclaren might be fast, but they are highly unreliable. well, true enough one of them dropped out ue to electronics failure. cheers~! Huggable Clutched April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 It was a great move my Michael to overtake button. The 2 Williams drivers were probably caught by surprise when the battle for 2nd place turned up right behind them. But it was a good tactical move my Alonso to pit earlier, hence avoiding the "pitstop race" with Michael.
Linus Clutched April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 i say the tag race between MS and Alonso is this year could be Alonso's year.
Huggable Clutched April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 Alonso definately on a roll now. Michael will have to work doubly hard to close the gap. If only Kimi can join the title chase too...
Linus Clutched April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 i think mclaren has some catching up to do. dunno wat happen to their reliability. Montoya doesnt seem to be fitting in well oso. Wurz and dela Rosa looks good.
Linus Clutched April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 kimi is frusted by his non-performing machine. *sigh*...
Huggable Clutched April 26, 2005 Share April 26, 2005 The Mclaren test drivers are definately proving their worth. Don't know how many more steering wheels does Kimi has to throw???
Linus Clutched April 27, 2005 Share April 27, 2005 at least steering wheels cheaper than engines lah... i think he pushes too much. engine cannot take it. perhaps wurz and dela rosa going more easy on the engines. race craft.... look at schumi. good tactics at imola. Linus Clutched April 28, 2005 Share April 28, 2005 hmmm.. maybe i shld say kimi's car. if its something like last season where they spend half of it fine tuning the reliability issue... ↡ Advertisement
