I woke up with a headache, the pillow was too soft. I reached for the alarm clock and slammed it against the wall. It was 8 on a warm Saturday morning. I should still be asleep, but the whole week, I have been receiving anonymous SMS messages from someone called anonymous.

Hope everybody had fun today! [:)]

 

It was great meeting up with famous F1 drivers [cool] & mingle among Race Queens [gorgeous] & getting cosy with sweet young things! [laugh]

 

Felt great to sit together sharing adventures and expriences! [nod]

 

We have met the Lord of the Rings (60 rings to be extact! [shocked])

 

Thank you [thumbsup] Sparrow & Wham & Carben for helping me to reload unspent fuel into my boot! [:)]

 

I must say, Carben was fast with his fury red machine! Envious of him riding off with 2 Race Queens..... [inlove]

 

Looking forward to our next Jan outing, (let's skip Feb Outing), Mar Outing..... [sly]

Rainbowsix stretched himself and looked at his watch. The face read 10.23 a.m. He arrived about half an hour ago and was feeling rather apprehensive about the meetup he was going to have. [sweatdrop]

 

There was going to be lots of familiar faces and folks that he has grown accustomed to as well as looking forward to seeing again after the last meetup at Keppel Club on November 22nd. However, there was a special guest today. [gorgeous] A guest that has not attended any meetups so far. And it was rainbowsix's priority to take good care of her.

 

He tried to picture how things would turn out. The questions churned non-stop in his mind but the answers cannot be found and this was not helped by the fact rainbowsix was working the night before and was kindda sleeply [sleeping].

 

Carben68 has informed him that he will be arriving at 10 a.m. and wanted him to be at the car park to help carry stuff. But those who know Carben well enough after the few gatherings in the past know that he will always buy drinks cuz he will be late. [laugh]

 

Hopping onto his trusty skate scooter, rainbowsix propelled himself to the carpark. "Hmmm... not a single soul in sight," He thought to himself. "Could this be another Tom Clancy conspiracy to throw me off?" He pondered. [scholar]

 

He decided to go one more round and reached for his mobile phone to sms Carben68 with the intention of blasting him for being so late. [rifle] Just as he was going to compose a strongly worded message, he spotted this guy in singlets carrying a bus load of stuff with his big, strong arms.(read: like gorilla's arms to be precise [laugh])

 

He reached in double quick time and spotted his priority for the day. She was a picture of coolness with her shades hiding her eyes and her long hair flowing gently with the sea breeze. Tucked over her well-toned shoulders were a pair of silver rollerblades. Rainbowsix was startled. His mind worked furiously and all he could managed was a tongue-tied "Hi!"

 

"What a bad introduction I did" Rainbowsix thought to himself and kicked himself hard. Fortunately, Eric19 came to his rescue and shook his hands. His lovely kids also called him "uncle" and rainbowsix thought to himself "Am I that old?" Together with Carben68 and Eric 19, the trio proceeded to the beach joined by Eric19 kids and wife using three bicycles. *look of envy written on all the guys faces*

 

Rainbowsix noticed his priority walking slightly behind her sister and decided to redeem himself for the introduction bit. He composed himself and introduced himself and shook her hand. He found that her name is W** P** (abbreviated WP for the rest of the story). She had a really lovely voice and a stunning smile that always makes rainbowsix (and any other guy, he suspects) go weak in his knees. [sweatdrop]

 

Some small talk was initiated but broken by Carben68 who wanted rainbowsix to be his free labourer. Hotwheelers also joined in and the trio walked up to the carpark again. Carben68 insisted that rainbowsix parked at the wrong carpark and advised him to park again. Rainbowsix complied cuz cannot offend Carben68. [shakehead]

 

Went back to the beach and found WP flipping thru the newspapers which Carben68 announced that he wanted to be the first to go thru them. Hmmm... must be one of Carben68's queer habits and wondered how his gf can put up with that. Or maybe not cuz she just flipped over first and read anyway. [laugh]

 

Soon, the rest of the gang started coming with Volume trying to shoot rainbowsix with a toy rocket launcher [rifle] . Gadgeter came with his gf and treated all those present a free show of how his abs look like. (must be hitting the gym very often [nod] ) Presea arrived with his wife and Rainbowsix recalled the last time Presea and him met, how much fun they had tearing away the corners at Marina South and burning rubber like there is no tomorrow.

 

Sparrow also came with three friends and mumbled something about them doing some research on handphone usage. Rainbowsix thought to himself "Sparrow such a hardworking student, weekend also do project work, sure get A one" HBLing came too and he was introduced to the gang.

 

Hotwheelers was preparing the packets of Green Tea and Carben68 wanted to test rainbowsix hand and eye coordination skill by throwing him three packet drinks which rainbowsix failed to catch any. *buries face in ground* Rainbowsix offered one drink to Carben68's gf, then to WP before himself.

 

After the drink was finished, he asked if WP if she would liked to go blading. She agreed and he helped her get ready with Carben68 hovering like a hawk to make sure everything is ok. [sweatdrop]

 

The blading started and both realised that Pasir Ris park is not that conducive for blading as the ground rather bad. "Must make a mental note to go East Coast for blading in future." Rainbowsix thought to himself after making the umpteenth u-turn.

 

Before long, they reached Down Town East and rainbowsix asked if she likes a drink while they take a break at one of the bbq pits. With the drinks bought and consumed, time seemed to flies (proving Carben's Theory of Relativity [nod] ) and before rainbowsix knew it, his mobile started ringing.

 

It was Presea who was kind enough to tell him that they had shifted and were now at the Seafood restaurant/coffeeshop. Carben68 called at the same time and wanted rainbowsix back. Must be his gf screaming at Carben68 for letting WP out of his sight. [laugh]

 

The return trip was rather fast and slight drizzling was experienced. Rainbowsix and WP got to the Seafood restaurant/coffeeshop uneventfully. Two seats were thoughtfully reserved for them and rainbowsix noticed Icerain who said he arrived half-an-hour ago. Rainbowsix also noticed Wham with his kids standing at the far end of the corner. Wham gave rainbowsix a knowingly wink. "Smart guy", rainbowsix thought to himself.

 

The drinks came and unfortunately, WP's drink had a fly swimming in it. Rainbowsix brought the drink with the fly to the counter and the auntie said "our drinks got no flies one, it must have fell inside during serving". Rainbowsix made sure the drink was dumped into the sink before he made himself back to the table.

 

The time was around 2 p.m. and his body started to tell him it is time to go home and [sleeping]. WP asked him if he has troubles driving home since he is so tired. *touched* Rainbowsix replied that he has yet to fallen asleep so far and will wind down the windows to let the fresh air keep him awake.

 

Hands were shook all around before everyone went his/her way. Wham came over to rainbowsix and shook his hand hard with the same knowingly wink he displayed earlier. Gadgeter pushed his bike with rainbowsix skate scooting behind. Gadgeter hinted that rainbowsix might be earlier than him even. *private joke, pm me or Gadgeter if u wanna know*

 

At the carpark, Carben68 blocked Presea's way and hand signals were traded freely with Carben68 having the edge since he also popped up his car headlights to "siong" Presea. Rainbowsix knowing how maniac Presea is when he is driving, with or without his wife tagged behind and soon was left far behind in Presea's exhaust.

 

They met up at the traffic light and Presea gave rainbowsix some words of encouragement. When the lights turned green, Presea full-throttled as usual and soon, became a speck in rainbowsix rearview mirror. Rainbowsix then made his way home, tired physically but in seventh heaven. [inlove]

Bro,

 

The egg has been layed. For the egg to become a chick. It needs lotsa warm and tender loving care. You may need to sit on the egg for a long time. You may not be able to run around as much as you want. There are sacrifices to be made etc etc..

 

Well, at the end of the day. Even if you do not get roast chicken for next christmas. Theres always scrambled eggs, poached eggs, half boiled eggs, hard boiled eggs or even sunny side up.. [laugh]

 

Personally, I prefer roast chicken. Don't you ? [sly]

Thanks for sharing with me how to lay the egg. I will bear it in mind. Agree that it is not easy to lay one and sacrifices have to be made. But at the end of the day, it will be worth it all.

 

I like roasted chicken from Kenny Rogers. Think I will try to eat that soon with u-know-who. [nod]
