Just now, at around 8.25pm, I was travelling on upper east coast rd towards tampines direction. I came to the cross junction of upper east coast rd and siglap rd. I stop my car on the right lane, behind the conntinuous white line. There's a silver nissan or toyota on the left lane, beside my car. When the light turns green, i moves off slowly, heading straight. Suddenly, the saloon car beside me cut into my lane within the junction box. I jam my brake adn gave a loud horn. The guy slow down after and I gave a star when i went pass. After awhile, I drove pass me and I thought he's apologising. I just wave and move on. Then, when turning towards bedok south rd, the guy flashes from the back and I stop. I got down and that eurasian boy told me that I scratch his car. I look at him and ask him "Why u cut into my lane?" He replied astonish me. He said he's on the 2nd lane and I cut into his lane. People, for those who don't live around that area, upper east coast rd at that siglap junction only got 2 lanes. I told him "There's only 2 lane. If u r on the 2nd lane, which lane am i on as there are only 2 lanes?" He than said that I'm behind him and I cut his lane. Boy amd I furious. I said that we leave the matters to the police and I'll call them. I was about to call the police and his aunt told me that let's let the matter rest. I left after and felt uneasy and went to make a police report, just in case they twist their stories around. When i came back, something came to my mind. The scratch is at the lower side of the right bumper and my front bumper is pretty high up, how to scratch it? Next, based on his claim that he's on 2nd lane, which is the right lane of the 2 lane and I'm behind him and try to overtake, how to? My car is slower then his and also if I try to overtake and base on his story, I'll be insane to overtake from his right instead of the left as there's oncoming cars from the other side. I'll collide head on with other cars instead. If I overtake from his left, how on earth will the hit and scratch marks be on his right bumper and not the left cos I should be colliding with his left rear instead. Wat kind of story is he making up? Anyone would believe his version of the story? He looks like a foreigner and around early 20s.
