my first rant, juz could not take it I was travelling behind CityCab taxi SHC6x0M in Lane 1 CTE toward City between AMK Ave 1 and Braddell at 7.18am 6 June 2008. Right before the ERP gantry before Braddell exit, the taxi signalled to cut left and braked hard to the extent that it came to a halt in Lane 1 a few metres before the ERP gantry. This is from a speed of 90+kmph, thus forcing myself and the drivers behind to do an e-brake. Thank goodness that we kept a safe distance away but the taxi driver is downright reckless The taxi came to a complete halt in Lane 1 when everyone else was going at 90+ kmph at that time. I assume the taxi driver wasn't prepared that the ERP gantry was in activation and thus wanted to stop to put in his cashcard?? Or signal left cos he wanted to filter to the extreme left to stop and dig out his cashcard? cos after we honk him non-stop, he drove through the gantry, all the way towards City and did not take any exit (I filtered to Lane 2 after PIE to avoid being behind such reckless driver, and lost sight of the cab after that).
