Hey guys,
I need your opinion on an incident that happened to me today.
My sister-in-law left me her car for a month whilst she stays overseas. Since I live in a condo with my own car that is registered at the address, I therefore have to inform the security that I will be parking my in-law's car as well in the condo.
Therefore, they wrote out a temporary parking permit from the 23/11/06 until 25/11/06. It was at about 11:00 today (Sunday 26/11/06) I discovered the car clamped. A $50 fee to release was paid to get the car back!!!!
Do any of you think this is a bit overzealous, clamping a vehicle just 11 hours beyond the stated time on the permit? What about other cars that come and go during the day without displaying permits? Do you think I have a case against my condo management?
