    Went to Cameron Highlands to my in law place for a short holiday. After countdown decide to head back home. Halfway down hill from Ringlet suddenly my Toyota Prius suddenly shows ABS warning, Low braking power warning and brake malfunction bypass warning. Scare the hell out of me as it was dark and steep and narrow and the brake booster pump fails. Have to step very hard and still the hydraulic system still ok. Manage to find a clearing and stop by the side. No phone signal so can't get help so no choice uturn and climb back up to my mother in law house. Managed to arrange tow truck from Ipoh to come in the morning to tow back to JB then JB back to Singapore. Total cost RM1900 from Cameron Highlands to Johor and SGD 250 from Johor to Singapore. Lucky only 2 of us so can tong pang tow truck home.
