You should have used the word "letter" instead of "alphabet".

 

There are 26 LETTERS in the ALPHABET.

 

Hence, "i", "R" and "X" are letters, not alphabets.

I think you missed out the the make Jaguar. Currently all their models are X-type, XF, XJ and XK

For engines, 'I' stands for injection, conceived during the times when fuel injection was a breakthrough innovation.

 

'R' stands for Race mostly.

 

And 'X' for cross, as in crossover, or in 4x4s, being able to 'cross' any obstacle.

 

Also, agree about 'letters' making up an 'alphabet'. Common mistake.
