German premium marque, Audi, is all set to mark a special milestone set by the handsome TT as it has pleased half-a-million customers worldwide. The production of the 500,000th Audi TT underscores the success of the compact sports car, which made its debut as a coupe in 1998 and as a roadster the year after.

To mark this milestone a special-limited run version of the 268bhp rated TTS will be available to just 500 lucky and affluent customers worldwide. Only 120 examples will be U.K. bound and it is unknown if any would reach our island.

The TT set standards not only for its design purity but also for its technology, which included ‘downsized’ turbocharged engines, quattro all-wheel drive for higher-end models and the six-speed S tronic transmission, which made its debut back in 2003.

The limited edition TTS models set themselves apart from the pack with an Audi exclusive - contrasting - paint finishes. The coupe will be painted in Nimbus grey for the coupe (although it looks pretty black) while the drop top will wear a bright and cheerful Imola yellow.

They also feature a fixed rear spoiler, resembling that of the flagship TT RS, and sport upgraded 19-inch wheels in five-arm rotor design.

In the cabin, special Impulse grey leather upholstery with the famous ‘baseball’ stitching in grey and yellow immediately marks them out, along with a numbered ‘x of 500’ plaque in the door insert.

The added equipment further enhance an already comprehensive equipment list, which includes a quad-tailpipe sports exhaust system, TTS sports suspension with Audi magnetic ride damper control, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, and matt brushed aluminium inlays, among others.

The Limited Edition coupe houses a 2.0-litre TFSI engine with 268bhp and peak torque of 350Nm, which is linked to either a six-speed manual or six-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission. When equipped with the latter, the benchmark century sprint is complete in a rather brisk 5.3 seconds before climbing to a governed top speed of 249km/h.

  • Godzilla Minus One: Surprisingly emotional and poignant

When one thinks of Godzilla movies, one imagines an oversized amphibious dinosaur generating a terrifying heat ray from its mouth and fighting with other oversized monsters. Meh, nothing special, right? Wrong. Here’s why Godzilla Minus One should be an action movie you should definitely catch. In this version, the timeless clash between monster and man is once again set against the tumultuous backdrop of post-war Japan. But, unlike typical action films that dive headfirst into destruction a

    Ready? Steady? Slow!

Have you ever watched on of those baby crawling races? They are hilarious. I watch a lot of NBA, and sometimes they have these races as a halftime entertainment. And its hilarious because unlike most athletic races, there's an inherent unpredictability and chaos to these things. They get distracted, they get bored, they get tired. Babies doing baby things, you know.  Well, England thinks it can one-up the absurdity of racing: Introducing to you, Snail Racing.  It seems almost

Why oolong tea could be the superior drink of choice at lunch

Coffee - without sugar! - has long been (and still is) my go-to option to accompany my lunch. Amidst a larger 2025 goal of reducing the number of cups of kopi-o kosong I gulp down a week, however, I’ve recently thought about how my lunch experience can be switched up slightly with yet another sugarless drink: A can, or indeed bottle of oolong tea. Oolong tea is said to offer a perfect balance of flavour and functionality - perfect not just for complementing one's meal but also reinvigo

Singapore weather: Rainy or sunny, what’s healthier for you?

Singapore can be that predictably unpredictable equatorial city, where the skies shift from radiant sunshine to torrential downpour in mere moments. Given how things have been the past few weeks, I’ve subconsciously found myself pondering the impact of this mercurial weather on our health. What does the internet say: Is it the sun-drenched days that truly invigorate us, or do the rhythmic rains offer a more profound rejuvenation? In a city where the climate dances between these two ext
