The options list for cars may be facing a revolution in the way they are presented to customers, so Audi says. What used to be ticks in boxes may now be downloaded from your dashboard. Audi's marketing boss, Peter Schwarzenbauer has suggested that their future cars will have Iphone-style 'Apps' that can be downloaded from computer styled dashboards. For instance, if you wanted heated seats for some reason, you can download that option from your car. Of course that means pre-installing the option into the car before it leaves the factory, just that it won't be activated till you actually buy the 'App' to activate it.

Wireless in-car Internet is also making its way into future Audi's, albiet selected models only, and the more expensive range topping ones I suppose. This new age level of connectivity is influencing not just the entire population in the world with 3G access from our mobile phones whenever we're on the move in public, but now in our personal vehicles as well. This is both a worrying and exciting prospect as we're now able to connect through the Internet from places we never imagined possible before, yet it shows the dependency that we have on the Internet and 'instant information'. The speed at which we obtain knowledge in our current lives is ever increasing and with the implementation of Internet connectivity in cars, it is a significant sign that shows the want and the need to stay connected wherever we go.

All this inspiration from Apple, I won't be surprised if kids in the future had Lan gaming from their cars on Ipads...

hmmm...hackable cars...I think if all cars came preinstalled with the options, such as HUD, nightvision, lane assist, etc, and just needs to be "unlocked", people will eventually just find ways to access these features without paying.

  • Pokemon Leaf Green version: A comprehensive summary

As the saying goes: You never forget your first. No, I'm not referring to George Washington's autobiography. I'm referring to our first experiences, be it love, job, car, or house, to name a few. And for me, Leaf Green was my first foray into the gaming world of Pokemon (as I've previously mentioned here). Don’t worry, this is more reminiscing and somewhat of a review - of which I feel I am entitled to, having registered over 500 hours of gameplay – and not a life lesson involving hatchets,
