blogentry-133713-0-36020500-1533198887_thumb.jpgTesla head Elon Musk, has confirmed that the Model S, 3, and X will get a new Party & Camper mode to boost its usefulness while being parked.

 

Using Twitter to reveal the news, Musk said that ‘Party & Camper mode’ will allow the battery pack to keep air flow on alongside selective lights, music and power outlets for at least 48 hours.

 

While it doesn't sound very useful, people who does long road trips might when they stop at rest stops along the highway. With some warm interior lighting and the sound system playing away, it could even pass off like a mobile home.

 

The new feature can be easily installed thanks to the over-the-air updates available across the different Tesla models.
