The FoMoCo (Ford Motor Company) and Mazda Motor Corporation are investing a total of US$350million on a joint 50:50 venture in Thailand. This comes pretty soon after Ford

In addition to next generation of compact pickup, Ford will be producing new model of Ford Focus at Rayong Plant of Auto Alliance Thailand while Mazda has encouraged Mazda Head Quarter in Japan to move assembly line of Mazda 3 from Philippines to Auto Alliance Thailand. New model of Mazda 3 will be built at Rayong Plant Thailand where auto-part supplier base is much stronger and able to supply for over 90% of auto parts of all makes. Current assembly of Mazda 3 in Philippines imports certain parts from Thailand.
