hi,

my aveo is due for 20k servicing and i'm in dilemma whether i shld still go to leng kee/ubi to get my car check. what are the risks of gng to an authorised chevy agent in JB instead? pls advise. thanks.

also, my friend told me that you can bring your own engine oil, spark plug and other misc items to the service centre for them to change for you. if this is true, what other items that you can buy on your own? will it save money? safe? sigh...

Just done my 5K at Ubi for my Aveo5.

Pay only $7.35 only with my own OIL.

The SA Tech really tries very hard to please.

Here the 2 price lists as captured by my Handphone camera.

Check it out for yr 20K package.

Decide where u want to have yr chevy done?

Sorry maybe a little small to read.

u probably have to go ubi to service ur car....and yes you can bring ur own parts. u wldn't save a lot on the parts like oil filter, air filter etc but you'll save quite a substantive amount on engine oil wink.gif

pls advise what is the average waiting time when u do ur booked servicing.

the timing is given by the workshop is 8am, i was there 8am sharp n get the number "2nd".

8.30am my number is called and key has collected by the workshop tech.

9.40am my car still at the same carpark lot. when i approached the same tech, he replied...workshop is not ready to work. then i wonder y ask me to come at 8am. wasted 1 hour 40mins.

9.50am then my car drove in the workshop. instead of the agreed 3hours completion, it was late for 1 hour +!!!

this is bad...what is ur average waiting time?

just to share... Done my 1k servicing last friday morning...

made an appointment @ 1000hrs...

well.. i tot... go there early finish early mah... so reach ubi at abt 0920hrs..

was attended by the service staff at abt 0940hrs... was advised that it may take longer than the usual 1 hour as i require the mechanic to do a detailed check for my steering... left ubi at abt 1005hrs, head home for brunch...

received call from SA at abt 1330hrs that my ride was ready for collection...
