How much does it cost to Buy + Install?

How much does it cost to tune (Dyno/Non-Dyno)

Where to find the cheapest (Including JB.. but doubt they sell cheaper elec parts)

Are improvements great? (considering i have my whole exhaust system changed.. header/pipes/cat/muff/open pod)

Any complications?

Lastly.. is a 2nd hand safc costing 400 bucks worth it?

[rolleyes][rolleyes][:p]

U can get it from Speedwork at genting lane..abt 400 plus....or u can go to simon rd, after Kovan MRT, turn left, keep right , go up a slope and u will see a auto shop there among those 2 storey houses...safc2 + install =500......tuning n dyno can do at Viswork at permas jaya..behind Jusco....RM250....for butt tuning can call Dennis 90933177.....pretty good....SAFC allow u to tune yr A/F ratio...of course it's help but don't expect huge gains....

It did work for my car. It helped me achieve about 2km more per litre. Better Throttle response too. It can help to run leaner, but then again, u will need to fine tune yourself as everyone have different driving habit.

Jus get the 2nd hand one as long there isnt any scratches... its not a wear n tear parts. A good tuner is more impt.

Get ur ride dyno tune in JB loh, Visworks or SpeedWorks. U may chk with Mutiara Motors see if they have any dyno machine cos they import and sell Greddy/Trust performance parts.

ALTERNATIVELY... get this sly.gif

Whatever u get, do try to get it tuned on the road instead of off road. There's always G-force effect on the road which may not be calculated in a off road Dyno test.

Pro's and con's for both. Best bet is to dyno tune first then road tune for fine tuning the settings.

I have good experience with Unichip. IMHO, it's better to get one that can tune not only A/F ratio and but also ignition timing. Anyway the additional cost may not be that much.
