Steady Neutral Newbie September 18, 2005 Share September 18, 2005 Just a precautionary to others: Any of you had installled ATF cooler from Servo? Better go check the existing pipes that they've used. Why? Bcos mine was installed using a low pressure, fuel grade, rubber pipe. And it burst during the weekend, Friday night some more! Had to tow it to workshop and wasted my weekend night out! The ATF fluid had decorated all of my engine interior, and after spending 3/4 of the day changing to 400psi-grade pipe, found out that my main radiator fan had died as well.....damaged by the ATF fluid I guessed. So no choice, had to change that too. Better go check that pipe immediately! ↡ Advertisement

I also think that you are the first with this problem bro ... Should tell Servo to notify the supplier ...

Steady Neutral Newbie September 19, 2005 Author Share September 19, 2005 I retrofitted mine at CAG auto. They bought extra length of hoses when they were doing up my car. Can try there. I'm going back there end of the month again for tuning and servicing.

Steady Neutral Newbie September 19, 2005 Author Share September 19, 2005 Not too sure about the psi grade, but that's what was recommended by the workshop.
Skodarr Neutral Newbie September 19, 2005 Share September 19, 2005 (edited) Amos... any ideas if we can get our hands on steel braided hoses for the ATF cooler? Much better than the rubber hoses Yes, agreed... Steel Braided Hoses are meant for high pressure and temperature purposes... AND WILL NOT LEAK OR BURST ... I done up my Engine Oil Cooler with it which cost me $920.00 ... But it's problem free until today about a year liow ... Yes, can customize but it will be extra cost to you ... If you are interested, you can let me know ... I can do it for you ... Edited September 19, 2005 by Skodarr

Skodarr Neutral Newbie September 19, 2005 Share September 19, 2005 The cost will determine the length and the adaptor used for the kit... You will require 2 pairs of hoses with similar length and 4 adaptors, 2 for the cooler and 2 for the ATF Transmission. Currently, are you on any ATF Cooler kit...?
