Yellow & Zigzag Lines?

hi all

 

what does single yellow line, double yellow line, zigzag yellow line, double zigzag yellow lines, etc, etc on the side of the road mean?? do anybody have a link to wat all these lines indicate? thanx!

Single zig-zag lines mean a vehicle may stop for the purpose of alighting or picking up passengers only but no parking is allowed. These lines have replaced the "No Waiting" signs.

 

Double zig-zag lines mean that no vehicle is supposed to stop at all within this demarcated zone, unless the vehicle is prevented from proceeding due to traffic condition. These lines have replaced the "No Stopping" lines.

100% correct, excpet u missed one thing. for the single zigzag line, even waiting in the car to pick up someone is not allowed.

To confirm y dun u check with the basic theory book? If u dun haf a copy, juz go to popular bookstore to flip thru and take a few peeks haha

Yup, you can park after 7pm-7am. That period.
