Focus : Need Help

Hi there FORD gurus,

 

Need some help here. Been looking around for a 4x4 but cannot find one i really like or could afford. The next best thing I would go for is a FOCUS. So need some help on that car. I am looking at 2nd hand

 

1) What depreciation should I be looking at since this is not a Jap car.

2) Is there a manual focus for a year old.

3) What is the fuel consumption like.

4) What's the preference, the 4dr or 5dr.

5) What is the diff between the GHIA model and the normal model.

6) What should I look out for when looking for a FOCUS.

7) Specs?

 

Basically, i love the look of FOCUS but know nothing of it since i never really thought of buying it till now, so any comments and help will be much appreciated.

I've been driving the 5 door focus ghia for more than one and half years and have enjoyed every moment with the car since day 1.

 

Love the

1) looks (exterior and interior)

2) handling

3) stability esp on high speed

4) solid built

I do believe there is a seller of a focus, Manual in the forum...perhaps you would like to contact him...well taken care of...and reasons for selling are academic....

 

 

 

Good luck...I tested the focuse, found it a good handling car...cannot say the same for the SE who sat with me... NEvertheless, handles well, and good value for $$$ imho!

Have you seen the ISUZU 4x4, 3.1l diesel turbo??? Just a suggestion...

 

Can do up like those M'sian's. Very chio you know? Actually I wanted to start a project on that, but no $$... Not that the vehicle very ex, but I'm dun exactly hv a lot of $$ either... It costs abt $75-80K brand new, passenger pick-up. Road tax abt $1200. But it's diesel, so can run ard like mad! Cheap! I dunno if they hv the petrol version, but if they do, then the roadtax should be abt $1k or lower... Oh, can register private and drive to M'sia!
