I'm driving the 156. Problem is, after 200kph, the speed builtup is at a crawling pace and there's traffic to prevent me from reaching the max speed. A few of my friend have hit 230!

Cheers!

I believe most 2litre engines can go up to 200kmh easily but once there it'll crawl unless it's a monster like a Rex, Evo or Fiat Coupe Turbo [;)]

IMO, if a particular car is very good in straight line acceleration but sucks in handling....then it's no use...unless you are going for drag-racing competition...

but of course i'm not refering to any car in particular..

True. To me, handling is more important. [:p] How many times can a person achieve a speed of >200kph? I find more enjoyment in 'sapuing' corners.

Generally, European cars handles better as their roads are small with many twists and turns. American roads are long and straight, so brute power and speed is more important there.

Yeah, that's why the American muscle is just a 5.7 V8 plonked into a coupe body and viola! 350bhp with endless amount of torque but redline at 6000rpm, pushrod ok.....don't play play. [;)]
